Dr Shaan the Principal Dentist at Design Dental is passionate about caring for and looking after his patient’s oral health. By practising preventative dentistry and educating patients on the benefits of maintaining good dental hygiene habits, Dr Shaan can help patients enjoy a natural and healthier smile without too much intervention.

Dr Wasif Jamil is an extremely highly experienced Oral Surgeon. He was born in Dubai and moved to the UK to study at the Eastman Dental Institute in London where he earned not one, but two master’s level degrees! He holds an MSc in Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and an MSc in Implantology. He has over 7 years of experience in this field, and is also a Tier 2 Specialist led Oral Surgery Practitioner. He has also undertaken training in IV Sedation – a practice that helps anxious patients by inducing a relaxed state and reducing pain whist remaining conscious. He does not practice general dentistry, and he wanted to focus all his attention on developing his oral surgery skills – as such, he exclusively practices oral surgery and is one of the best in the business.
With his expertise in restorative and cosmetic dentistry, Dr Shaan can also create a brighter smile or the smile of your dreams through highly skilled treatments such as composite bonding, dental implants, dental veneers, and Invisalign. He has travelled to various countries learning the latest and most advanced dental techniques. This enables him to provide his patients with the very best dental care with superb results.
Dr Zainub is the principal dentist at Design Dental and is dedicated to treating cases that give patients their self-esteem and confidence back. She was awarded Membership of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners, Royal College of Surgeons of England, MFGDP(UK) in 2015 and Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (MFDS RCS) in 2016.
Her use of advanced technology allows patients to leave Design Dental pain-free in a single visit, without unnecessary tooth pain. Although she is an all-rounder in general and cosmetic dentistry, her true passion lies in surgical procedures.
Outside of work, Zainub is kept very busy by her two young children and enjoys cooking cuisines from all over the world.
Dr Thelma has over 20 years of experience in the private dentistry industry and is passionate about providing beautiful and healthy smiles, bringing back patient’s aesthetic, function and, as a result, quality of life. She has a special interest in endodontics (root canal treatment).
Dr Thelma’s career began when she qualified as a Dentist from the Universidade Paulista- Brazil in 2000. She then augmented her dentistry skills through a full programme of postgraduate education in Endodontics in Brazil (2004). In 2015 she completed a MBA course in Management in Healthcare system and in 2016 she was also awarded a Integrated Masters Degree in Endodontics (Portugal).
Thelma provides Invisalign, cosmetic dentistry (including composite bonding, teeth whitening, veneers and mini smile makeovers) as well as general dentistry.
